LAST ENTRY!!

This is a picture of a street on the lower east side of Manhattan. The Immigration Journey continues today in New York and all over the world. The one thing that I learned from this trip is that people, throughout time and space, have faced their fears and traveled to new lands to better their lives. When Nancy and I wrote our grant, we said that we wanted our students to know that everyone has a "choice". We wanted our students to know that their choices determine their lives, and that life is not something that just "happens" to you. Your hundreds of choices every day lead you in a direction. Is the direction you have chosen leading you where you want to go? It is never too late to change your direction. Thank you, Fund for Teachers, it was a glorious trip!!!
